Cameron Lavender Garden

Cameron Lavender Garden

The Cameron Lavender Garden is one of the latest additions to the attractions in Cameron Highlands. As the name implies, it is designed based on the beautiful color of lavender and its fragrance.

At Cameron Lavender, you will be welcomed with the scent of lavender as you enter the premises where you can enjoy all types of lavender-related products and services.

That which makes Cameron Lavender so interesting is that you can enjoy a lot of activities here. Entrance fee is RM5 for adults and RM3 for children and the centre is open daily throughout the day.

Top tourist attraction in Cameron

Lavender Garden was opened in 2013 and has since grown to become a prominent tourist attraction here. Located at Tringkap, it is only a stone’s throw away from Brinchang town, one of the three major towns in Cameron.

If you are coming in from the Tapah interchange, you will have to drive through the towns of Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang where you will reach Kea Farm. Drive a few minutes further and you will reach Tringkap.

However, coming in from the northern parts of the state through Simpang Pulai will be faster where you will reach Kampung Raja first, then to Kuala Terla before approaching Lavender Garden.

Roses, yellow daisies, peonies and camellias

The most notable sight you will notice as you reach the Cameron Lavender Garden is the purple horizon of lavender flowers. IT is very well designed and an amazing sight which is different from other flower nurseries.

However, if you are a flower-lover, there are other types of plants here like roses, peonies, yellow daisies and camellias.

If you are the more adventurous type, you can visit the bee farm here where you get to learn how honey is produced through the bee colonies. Besides that, you can bring home some lavender and other products at the gift shop.

For an affordable fee, you can buy potted lavender plants and learn some of the techniques from the friendly staff here.

The café here is a great place to go where you can enjoy a fresh cup of Cameron tea and some snacks or try out the unique Lavender ice-cream.
